Libellule
French Comte
and Eastern Burgundy
Seven days/six nights
 |
Thirty years of
experience have gone into the design of the Libellule, making it a
perfect canal barge. There is a separate dining room, a forward lounge
with superb views, and a sundeck where passengers may enjoy watching
the captain steer during the cruise.
The cabins are very spacious, making
this barge one of the most comfortable cruising the French canals..
|
This year the
Libellule’s new itinerary takes it from the heart of the beautiful
Franche-Comté region to the attractive landscapes of Eastern Burgundy. The
cruise will follow the picturesque river Saône between Port-sur-Sâone and
Verdun-sur-le-Doubs, with excursions to Arc-et-'Senans (UNESCO World Heritage
Site), Dijon (capital of Burgundy) and Beaune (center of the Burgundy wine
trade).
