Terms and Conditions for Continental Waterways Cruises

The price list explains what is included in the price.  The price does not include gratuities for crew members which is a recommended 5 % of the list price of the cabin.

The following payments are required: 

On discounted investor cabins----- 50% to confirm booking, non refundable.  A final payment of 50% due 14 weeks prior to sailing date. No refunds for cancellations within 12 weeks of sailing.  Visa/ Mastercard accepted with completion of credit card agreement form.

Full price sales ------Payment of 25% of the cost of the cruise. Non refundable. Balance due 12 weeks prior to departure.  50% Penalty for cancellations 12 weeks prior to departure.   75% for cancellations between 12 weeks and 8 weeks prior to departure. and the entire cruise price for cancellations within two months prior to departure. Cancellation insurance is recommended and made available at the bottom of each page.

All cancellations must be in writing to American Dream Vacations.

Waterway Routes------All routes are subject to change without notice. Some waterways may be subject to occasional closures due to drought, storms, floods, canal or lock repairs, or other unforseen circumstances that may result in conditins unsafe for navigation.  In the unlikely even of such occurences the following conditions may apply.  The same conditions may apply to a mechanical problem with the boat.

1. If navigation has to be suspended for any reason the passengers will continue to  be accomodated on the stationary vessel and regular excursions will continue to be made with cruising to begin as soon as possible or,

2. CW reserves the right to reverse a cruise route, cruise along another waterway or transfer passengers to another boat on another water operating the same week.

3. Navigational conditions may require the use of different overnight moorings. Visits are subject to avialability and their order could  be different than explained in the brochure.  Cruises operate in reverse order on alternate weeks.   Routes may be modified due to river or canl closures for repairs, flooding or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Smoking Policy----In the interest of security and comfort, smoking is not permitted on our vessels except in certain designated exterior areas.

Children on Board----Children under 10 are welcome on charters only.

   Continental Waterways is a trademark of Continentale de Croisieres SA.  All vessels are registered in France.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  CW  reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations in the itinerary as seems necessary or desirable, to refuse to accept or retain as a member of the tour any person at any time, and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control.

Continental Waterways reserves the right to take photographs during the cruise opereation of any tour or part and to use the photos in promotional materials. Passengers agree to the use of such photos.  Should any passengter prefer that their image not be used they must notify the escort at the beginning of their tour.
